Ate O Ate recently catered our wedding at The Inn at West Settlement in Roxbury. The food is incredible. We were married September 19th and I am still getting compliments on the short ribs and Reuben balls and butternut squash lasagna just to name a few. I am drooling thinking about it. My vegetarian and carnivore guests were equally impressed. Peg was fantastic with answering all of our questions and helping us sort out any rentals we would need. Her staff was professional and attentive throughout dinner. The drink station they set up for our outdoor ceremony was absolutely adorable! Our wedding was just completely perfect, due in no small part to the amazing talents of Rich and Peg. Thank you so much!

Peg, Rich, and their team recently catered our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding in Roxbury, NY, and all we can say is…WOW!

From the first moment we connected with Peg, we knew it was going to be a match made in heaven for us. Of all of the wedding caterers we researched, she was by far the most responsive, friendly, professional, and accommodating! All we had to do was get on the phone and hear her laugh and we were hooked. And as if that wasn’t enough, in the first week of knowing her we had a crisis with our rehearsal dinner location and Peg had a Plan B, Plan C, and Plan D for us before we could even process what had happened.

Throughout the months between hiring AteOAte and our actual event, we had several chats to nail down all of the small details of our wedding weekend. Peg was FULL of great ideas and new recipes, provided more than was ever expected, and had tons of great knowledge and tips on how we could make everything run smoothly. She really made us feel at ease knowing that we would have nothing to worry about with them.

For our rehearsal dinner, AteOAte pulled their fabulous truck up curbside and served the most amazing appetizers and hors d’oeuvres you’ve ever had. Definitely go for the mini venison wellington and short rib tostones!! Their servers were friendly and attentive, made extras of everyone’s favorite things, and heated up some special plates when we had a few late-comers. No one could stop talking about the food and how they hoped it would be the same team for the wedding. Luckily for them, it was!!

The rehearsal dinner was truly amazing, but the wedding was where AteOAte just SHINED! Peg even went out of her way to get compostable cups in coordinating wedding colors for the pre-ceremony mulled cider she offered to serve our guests (her amazing idea)! After the ceremony, while we were stuck taking photos instead of enjoying cocktail hour, she sent one of her servers with a plate full of goodies to us so we could grab a bite in the middle of all the craziness (such a great touch). The food and cocktails that AteOAte came up with for the reception were beyond perfect. Our wedding was three and a half weeks ago, and our guests are STILL calling us to say how amazing the food was; that it was the BEST wedding food they’d ever had and that the servers were on top of everything. Peg’s team went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect, that we were fed, and that all of our guests were happy. She also made special meals for our vegetarian guests to make sure they didn’t feel like afterthoughts (as is usually the case with that). And the cherry on top, Peg had brought a special bottle of local hard cider just for us to share!

To make a long story short, we couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire AteOAte! Their truck is super cool and chic, their food is delicious and unique, their staff is amazing, and they did everything they could to really make our wedding perfect. Thank you thank you for helping to make our weekend such a delicious dream!!!

We had our welcome dinner at Kirkside Park and had the Ate O Ate truck cater the event. Peg, Rich, and their staff made the night absolutely perfect! We knew after our tasting that we would be having amazing food, but we did now expect the above and beyond service that we received from them. They took care of every detail, and made the night flow perfectly. Everyone at the party raved about the food! They truly made the night magical. We will be making trips upstate just to eat at the Ate O Ate food truck again! Thank you for everything!

Peg & Rich just catered our Welcome Reception and our Wedding this weekend and it was beyond amazing!!! Everyone complimented the food throughout and afterwards, its top of mind. They pulled up the food truck to our venue for some gourmet sandwiches on Friday and then did family style food on Saturday at the wedding. The cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres were so good I want to drive back up to eat more of them! Highly recommend the asian meatballs, shrimp and scallop cakes and especially the reuben fritters. If you are getting married in the Roxbury area you need to use Ate.O.Ate!!! The whole process from the first tasting through the end of the night Saturday was great, customer service is 5 star and all of their staff were excellent.

ate.o.ate catered my friend’s wedding in Roxbury. The food was awesome – reuben fritters, and bloody mary shrimp skewers were great. The servers were friendly and always smiling. Well done staff, very nicely done.
